Frank
Callan in Steve Davis' words, is one of a very select band of people
who have insight into the game at the highest level. Some of the
greatest players the game has known have turned to him for help
and assistance to improve their game.
He
has been guru to world champions Steve Davis, John Parrot, Terry
Griffith, and Stephen Hendry, whilst working closely with Doug Mountjoy,
Anthony Hamilton and many, many others.
Doug
Mountjoy for instance, after being one of the top 16 players for
a decade had declined to number 24 in the world rankings and was
sliding lower.
In
1988 he went to Frank Callan, who took his game apart and rebuilt
it. Within months he had won the Tennants UK Open Championship in
frontof over 13 million viewers and then went on to win the Mercantile
Credit Classic in Blackpool.
The
public quickly became aware of what most top players acknowledge:
Frank Callan is the finest snooker coach the game has EVER seen.
Now
in the pages of this web site, Frank makes his experience and insights
available to all players from the beginner to the top professional.
Are
you a right, left or even sighted player? Does it matter how your
feet are placed? In which position should your elbow be before striking?
Find
out in the pages of this web site, where the master coach becomes
'your coach'.
