The Line Up

This routine is the one favoured by most top professional players to practise the 'basics'.

Line all 15 reds up in a direct line with the brown, blue, pink and black as shown. Proceed to take a colour with each red. On potting the final red, obtain position on the colour in such a way as to obtain position on the yellow.

Take all the colours off their spots until the pink is potted and the black is the only ball left on the table.

Replace all fifteen reds, pot the black and start over again
