Awkward Bridging

How big are your hands?

As with cueing off the cushion, this can be a very difficult aspect of the game to master. There is no telling when you will be forced into cueing over another ball or the nature of the shot you will have to play.

Your height and the size of your hands and fingers can influence the ease with which you play these shots, with taller people having a distinct advantage.

As a starting point, just practice cueing over another ball without playing a shot. Advance on to cueing over another ball, whilst promoting the white into a pocket.

If you wish to practice a 'set' shot or situation, then practise around the black spot a variety of different bridging situations.
