Frank Callan's record in the amateur and professional game speaks for itself, as does the list of great players with which he has worked.

To be involved with so many players who have competed at the highest level, provides a glowing testimony to the expertise Frank has acquired over many years. The ability to clearly convey this knowledge is perhaps best demonstrated with the remarkable turnaround witnessed in Doug Mountjoy's game in the late 80's.

Frank's continued involvement with Stephen Hendry, illustrates how highly regarded he currently is at the pinnacle of the sport. Clearly we think Frank is the greatest snooker coach in the world, but what do you think?

If there is a coach out there who you feel does not get the recognition they deserve then let us know your thoughts. Tell us how they have helped you to develop your game, any innovative training methods they may have used and detail the successes they have enjoyed.

Is there a great coach from the past that people have forgotten?

Are there any female snooker coaches, doing a great job bringing players on?

We are not just interested in the coaches to the star players. In fact, we are perhaps more interested in the local coaches, people that do not get their name in lights, but do a sterling job at the grass roots level of the game.

Tell us about the coaches in your country, county, or even your local geographical area. Coaches who make a difference!

Email us your responses, and we will begin to compile a list of all great coaches, past and present.
