What's new

Often during the course of a frame the spots can become covered or partially covered, by another ball other than the correct ball for that spot.

If a colour cannot be re-spotted cleanly (without touching another ball) on its own spot, it is re-spotted on the highest value spot available at that time. The black spot should be checked first to see if it is available and then the remaining spots should be considered in the normal order of pink, blue, brown, green and yellow.

If all the spots are occupied, the ball is placed as near to its own spot as possible, without touching another ball. Placement should be in a direct line with the nearest point of the top cushion.
